The classic contrapposto is replaced by a Lumpy Figure: lite- rally, a shapeless body. The huge, misshapen figure simultaneously repels and attracts us. It is deformed, almost primitive. Lumpy Figure is a contorted, slightly terrifying alien; part human, part animal.
